The company points to the arrival of Amazon Cloud Cam is another example of the digital giant’s growing hardware portfolio.
Ampere notes that Amazon has launched two new versions of its Fire Stick/TV product line, with Alexa built-in, during the last year alone. And it reckons the success of the Fire Stick is partly because Amazon has been happy to allow competing video services, such as Netflix, as well as broadcaster catch-up services, to run on the Fire Stick, but has been reluctant to make its own service available across competing platforms.
