Conax and Quadrille promise easy Push-VOD deployments

Conax and Quadrille are promising broadcasters that they will be able to launch Push-VOD TV services easily, cost-effectively and in record time, thus providing an unparalleled Return on Investment (ROI). The promise will be fulfilled thanks to the integration of their respective solutions, Conax Contego and Quadrille’s QuadriFast Push VOD solution. The companies will be announcing the first operator customer for this combination within the next few weeks.

Quadrille’s QuadriFast is an off-the-shelf, end-to-end solution that enables VOD content to be pushed over any broadcast network. It does not require a dedicated channel to operate, but instead uses the existing bandwidth available on the broadcasted channels and auto-adjusts data transmission accordingly. Conax Contego content security is designed to support any distribution technology and a multitude of consumer devices, covering fixed TV and multi-screen TV requirements.

Quadrille worked closely with Conax to achieve a seamless integration with Conax PreEncryptor for encrypting all content prior to broadcasting. This ensures premium content is fully secure.  Deployment can be made even easier because of the cooperation between Quadrille and Cubiware, the long-term STB middleware partner of Conax.
