TalkTalk confident of growing its TV population with YouView
TalkTalk had an installed base of 29,000 YouView set-top boxes by November 11 with connections running at 1,000 per day, having announced its new TalkTalk TV package, complete with a free YouView box, at the end of July and started marketing it in October. The TalkTalk Plus triple-play offer also includes a 12 month subscription to LOVEFiLM Instant and access to all Sky Sports channels and also Sky Movies on a month-by-month subscription basis. The company says the new TV service deployment is running smoothly with very positive feedback and it is confident in its plans to grow the customer base.
