Neotion has outlined its vision for how Pay TV operators can succeed in the Smart Home and it requires that they guarantee the sensors and other devices we install work well together and, most importantly, are secure from hacking or data leaks thanks to a device certification programme. As Gregory Wieczorek, President and General Manager at Neotion explains, operators can also provide the integration between smart home and entertainment ecosystems that enables smart alerts on the television set and multiscreen command-and-control. Executed properly, the Smart Home should become an important anti-churn weapon.
