In its first independent appearance as an exhibitor at IBC, video service provider Simplestream will demonstrate its advanced multichannel and multi-territory video solutions, designed to show how broadcasters, media networks and content creators can grow consumer engagement and ROI in an increasingly concentrated market.

Product demonstrations will include:
o Media Hub – a cloud-based, end-to-end, fully-managed solution that allows telcos and broadcasters to deploy next-generation online TV services across multiple platforms and territories
o Media Manager – a solution developed to reduce the complexity and cost of delivering a full range of live streaming, TV Everywhere, catch-up and live-to-VOD solutions
o Platform Services – consumer-facing applications that provide OTT-delivered linear channels, catch-up TV and other VOD content across a broad range of platforms

Simplestream believes consumers now expect a seamless delivery of content across every device, and says it is committed to reducing the complexity of video service delivery so that channels and operators can cost-effectively meet that expectation. The company says it will be demonstrating how to achieve that “with an industry-leading launch-to-market turnaround and a UX that meets tailored business needs.”

Simplestream customers include At The Races, Box Plus Network, Discovery Networks, Scripps Networks, Turner Broadcasting, Sony and QVC.
