A Grand Prix winner (chosen from category winners) will be announced for both the International and UK entries.

Mark Cross, who is Chair of the judges (and also Director at Chartroom), says: “We were delighted by the range and depth of entries for the Connies this year. They act as a great barometer on the quality and increasing mix of talent, skills and capability in our industry that at best, produce truly remarkable results. The Judges were put to the test by all, but congratulations to those who made the shortlists – your entries were exceptional.”

John Moulding, Editor-in-Chief at Videonet, added: “This year’s International categories contain important ‘firsts’ and products with the potential to completely change the way we do things in television. Even after a decade of hyper-disruption and technology change, the rate of innovation is still impressive in this market.”

Previous winners of the Connies include RhythmOne, Freeview Australia, Channel 4, Sky Media, Facebook, YouView, Harmonic and VCCP Media.
