Having launched on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. earlier this year, the millennial-focused streaming content provider Insight TV has launched two channels on Samsung TV Plus in the UK. Samsung TV Plus is the television maker’s aggregated content offer, made available on its smart TVs, and Insight TV is focused on 4K UHD HDR content.
The two new channels are Insight TV Lifestyle and Insight TV Wonder and focus on inspirational human endeavours from around the world, including in sports and science, and on the natural world.
These linear streaming channels are free to view and expansion into Europe is expected. The content is ad-supported. Samsung Ads, Samsung’s ad sales division in London, takes care of all ad sales for the UK. Insight TV sells pan-European advertising deals itself, working closely with Samsung Ads.
