SDMC and Amlogic are the newest technology vendors to join the NAGRA Android Fast Track program in a collaboration designed to give Pay TV operators more choice when it comes to Android TV based deployments. Shown to visitors at the APAC Android TV Summit in Bangkok recently, the pre-integration combines the NAGRA Connect security client and a new hybrid set-top box by SDMC powered by the Amlogic S905X3 series system-on-chip (SoC). The solution will operate in full compliance with the Google MediaCAS framework.

This programme combines a highly secure and fully featured ecosystem of technologies, partners and services to successfully plan hybrid and OTT deployments and help operators execute on the Android TV journey.
