In further evidence of how Comcast NBCUniversal Sky views itself as a global platform with scale comparable only to the biggest born-digital companies, the content/television group is introducing something akin to a developer conference, only with a marketing/advertising focus. ONE21, as the debut annual event is called, is being held on March 22. It is aimed at creative professionals, marketers, developers, technologists, entrepreneurs and businesses of every size. They can expect the company to unveil its insights, partnership opportunities, technology roadmap and commerce vision for the whole group. One of the themes is the local-to-global capabilities for marketers using the NBCUniversal One Platform.
NBCUniversal says ONE21 is a first-of-its kind, “combining the magic of the entertainment industry with the strategic insights and solutions of a platform developer conference. It will bridge the gap between consumers and advertisers, and redefine what it means to partner with a leading media and technology company. ONE21 has been intentionally scheduled in the first quarter to give marketers the information they need to build new solutions and make better business decisions.”
