IRIS.TV provides access to video-level data that goes beyond basic keyword-based content analysis to provide a deeper knowledge of the content an advertiser can appear next to. Topic-based ad placement is one of the opportunities. IRIS.TV and Plex believe these contextual insights provide greater transparency for brands, increase buyer confidence in connected TV inventory, and will increase the value of Plex to marketers.
Plex is a global streaming platform that aggregates content from Lionsgate, Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), Sony Pictures Television, Sinclair Broadcast Group, AMC, A+E, and Crackle and others. It has a large library of free on-demand movies and TV shows, almost 200 live channels and even podcasts.
