beIN ASIA PACIFIC partners with Globecast for sports streaming

beIN Asia Pacific is collaborating with Globecast to power its sports streaming. The company will host beIN Asia Pacific’s OTT platform and provide “easy content contribution, fully managed media processing, playout and distribution." Globecast will also supply satellite and IP streaming distribution for the sports broadcaster.

beIN ASIA PACIFIC – a division of Qatar-based beIN Media Group – has collaborated with Globecast to power its sports streaming in the Asia Pacific region. The solutions provider for media and content management will provide a range of media processing and delivery services including cloud and on-prem playout, sports contribution services and content management. Globecast will host beIN ASIA PACIFIC’s OTT platform, allowing the sports broadcaster to “create and distribute pop-up channels as when required.”
