XroadMedia – the content discovery and personalisation solution provider – has partnered with NAGRA to deploy its content discovery solution – Ncanto – as part of NAGRA’s OpenTV Video Platform. According to the companies, the partnership will allow video service operators to offer personalised user experiences and content discovery use-cases – such as universal search, recommendations and personalised content presentation – based on the viewing habits, moods and interests of viewers. The companies believe the solution will enhance the ability of operators to monetise their content through “hyper-personalised” services.
The joint solution also provides operators with management tools to “optimise their personalisation use-cases at any time as well as introduce new data-driven features and functionalities to consumers with no development and integration resources required.”
